We are an Australian company who provides solutions for businesses looking to design or modify their own products.
While we predominantly design motor vehicle accessories for the 4wd industry, our expertise and cutting-edge technology ensures we can produce 3D models, CAD and technical drawings for other areas also.

With studios in Melbourne and Brisbane, including a Motor Vehicle Test Fitting Facility, we can provide a multitude of services including 3D CAD and technical drawing, custom design work for new products, or, modifications to existing products, test fitting, fitting instructions and we can also design updates for compliance.

We are very proud to have Ben Madsen as our Design and Project Manager. With 28 years working within the 4WD accessory market, Ben has extensive knowledge of the industry and the software and hardware utilised for 3D models, CAD and technical drawings.

Technology

ATD uses breakthrough technology to produce 3D CAD drawings and custom design work using the latest in 3D CAD scanning technology design software.

The Artec Leo scans 80 frames per second which makes it the fastest professional handheld 3D scanner available on the market. With wireless technology, we can scan any object and see the 3D replica being built in real time on Leo’s touch panel screen, enabling you to capture all areas and fill in any you have missed.

The Artec Eva scans at 16 frames per second making it fast, light and incredibly versatile. Eva is a market leader in handheld 3D scanners and allows for unlimited applications, capturing precise measurements in high resolution including on black and shiny surfaces. Interestingly, it was the first scanner used to scan and produce a 3D portrait of an American President, Barack Obama.

Geomagic Design X

Is the industry’s most comprehensive reverse engineering software. It does what no other software can with its combination of automatic and guided solid model extraction, incredibly accurate exact surface fitting to organic 3D scans, mesh editing and point cloud processing. This enables us to scan virtually anything and create manufacturing-ready designs.

Solidworks

Is a critical tool for streamlining the design and manufacture of products in all industries. Solidworks provides us with the design, simulation/verification, manufacturing, file management, and collaboration tools we need to develop and manufacture innovative products and equipment.
